The Bertram Logistics Capability Statement is the document our customers use to vet us as an interstate carrier. It runs to a single PDF and covers what a carrier-vetting team needs to see before signing a Master Services Agreement or adding Bertram to a panel.
What's in the Capability Statement. Company overview (ownership, headquarters, scale, lanes covered). Accreditation evidence (NHVAS Mass Management, Basic Fatigue Management and Maintenance Management certificate references; insurance limits with current Certificates of Currency on request). Safety and compliance posture (Safety Management System summary aligned to HVNL; Chain of Responsibility documentation pack contents; Driver Handbook contents page). Fleet specification (prime mover and trailer types operated; active safety technology fitted; restraint and load-security regime). Technology stack (HubFleet electronic work diary on every truck, Geotab telematics with in-cab cameras across the fleet, TransVirtual TMS for consignments and POD). Lanes and capacity (scheduled interstate lanes with cadence; ad-hoc and project capacity; honest scope statement on what we do not carry — cold-chain, parcel courier). Customer references (two to three referee contacts released on request with prior consent). Commercial (Standard Trading Conditions reference, payment terms, procurement contact).
Why we gate the download. The Capability Statement contains commercial information we are happy to share with bona fide customers and procurement teams, but not with mass scrapers, competitors or unverified third parties.
How to request the Capability Statement. Email jobs@bertramlogistics.com.au with subject line 'Capability Statement request' and include: your name, your company, your role (procurement / logistics / operations / supply chain / sales / other), your work email, your phone, and a brief note on what is prompting your request (vetting Bertram for new freight / refreshing carrier panel / comparing carriers for a specific lane / other).
The PDF is sent to your nominated email within one business hour during business hours and within four business hours otherwise. If your need is urgent, phone 1800 256 447 and ask for the Capability Statement — we can supply additional evidence (current Certificates of Accreditation, Certificates of Currency, sample BFM trip records) on the same call.
