How Bertram Logistics handles your information
Bertram Logistics Pty Ltd (ABN 32 692 749 661) collects personal information when you contact us, request a freight quote, or use our services. We collect: name, email, phone, business name, pickup and delivery addresses, and any other information you provide in our enquiry form. We use this information to: respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, dispatch and deliver freight, issue invoices and receive payment, and meet our legal obligations under the Heavy Vehicle National Law and Australian taxation law. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with: our drivers and subcontracted carriers (where required to deliver freight), our accounting and IT providers, and government agencies where required by law (NHVR, ATO, ASIC). Customer signatures and photographic Proof of Delivery are stored in our TransVirtual TMS for the purpose of dispatch records and dispute resolution, retained for 7 years in line with Australian tax record-keeping requirements. We protect your information using industry-standard security measures including access controls, encrypted backups and staff confidentiality obligations. You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time by emailing jobs@bertramlogistics.com.au or phoning 1800 256 447. Complaints will be acknowledged within 5 business days and resolved within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992. This policy is governed by Australian law.
